Cell phones are gaining importance in our lives as they days go by. With the changes in the market, it is more of a supply demand relation as opposed to a demand supply relation. When a person buys a mobile, they get several accessories with the packing, and some accessories have to be bought. Of course, the types of accessories that are available with the packing and the ones that have to bought depend on the price and price range of the mobile phone itself.
However, it can be safely said that the cost of the external accessories sometimes adds a large chunk to the cost of the phone itself. Here are some accessories that you can do without, if you are a little bit careful.
Car Charger:
Unless you are a jet setting pioneer in your business, there is no reason why you cannot remember or get the time to plug your phone charger to a electric point in the house and charge it for the required hours. If you do misplace your charger quite a few times, it will be easier to keep the charger plugged into the electric point and charge it when necessary.
However, take precautions that you do not put the charger on unless necessary, or there are risks of electric problems in your house. This simple step will help you save some dollars on an expensive car charger, and make your phone a cheap cell phone.
Stickers/Shiny Stickers/Keychains:
Another important way to save money on your cell phone is to stay away from those cutesy stickers, specialized merchandise phone covers, etc. Any phone cover works well on a phone, it does not need to have 'the force with it'. As for stickers, they are cute to begin with but may become messy after a while, and you may actually have some sticky gooey spots on the body of your mobile, which may finally make you buy a whole new body, which will make you spend some money again.
Headphones with In Built Radio:
Even the most cheap phone today will have a inbuilt radio, with only the higher range models like business phones not having the radio functionality. Therefore, before buying the mobile, make sure that it has all the features that you want and strike out the features that you do not want. This is another great way of saving money on your phone buy.
Spending Repairing Money on Your Used Cell Phone:
If you have bought a pre owned phone and find out that you need to spend money on it to repair it, you'd be better off dunking the phone and getting a new one. Most electronic devices have a 'manufacturer/registered repairman' only policy, where you need to get the problematic phone repaired at only the manufacturer's end or at a registered repairman's outlet - the warranty is null and void if the phone is opened by a person not delegated to open the cell phone.
